It doesn’t matter how smart a criminal is one day the long arm of the law does nabs him.

Sometimes in their bid to outsmart law enforcers, criminals do resort to ways, which often becomes the reasons for their undoing.

Police often take help of dogs to bust many illegal activities but rarely has it happened that buffaloes bare the real face of their own masters.

Recently, police in Gujarat sate of India nabbed three farmers for selling illegal liquor after their own buffaloes got drunk.

It all began when buffaloes started behaving strangely and the owner called a vet to look into the issue.

On investigating the cause of buffaloes’ uneasiness, the vet found that there was some problem with the water they drank.

When the water was checked it was found that it was contaminated with alcohol.

Police were called and the source of alcohol leakage led police to a place where hundreds of liquor bottles were stored.

The alcohol leaked through some of the broken bottle and got mixed with the water supplied for buffaloes.

Police arrested three farmers who owned the buffaloes and seized 100 bottles of alcohol worth Rs32,000 ($400).
