His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, said that a nation grow because of its people.
In his weekly tweet with the hashtag “#FlashesofLeadership,” the Dubai Ruler said, “If the needy comes to you, help him... And if the oppressed comes to you, support him... And if the owner of the idea comes to you, support him also… And if the world comes to you, listen to the world...”
And if the young man comes to you, open a way for him towards his future...”
“We do not grow as separate individuals... We grow as a people who support each other... we excel as one nation... We are advancing as a united country...”
Last week, Sheikh Mohammed told young people that the good reputation and progress our country has achieved, thanks to Late Sheikh Zayed.
“The name UAE is now well known around the world. You are the elite who represent the country.
“We want you to represent it in all aspects.
“We have great chances to lead, the leader is the one who says I am a leader and leads his group. The leader is the person who does his best to make the UAE’s reputation good. I want you to be one team.”
Sheikh Mohammed launched the #FlashesofLeadership on his Instagram account to share part of his life, practical experiences, and leadership vision with the public.
He keeps sharing inspirational quotes and anecdotes on social media platforms.
Last month, Sheikh Mohammed said, “Man has to seize the chance. Challenge is the only way to achievements. “When you ride your horse and make a faster step, you will cause the horse to get tired. If you decrease the steps, you will lose the race. You have to be accurate and realize the capabilities of your horse. Man grabs opportunities and the horse is ready when the knight is ready. With challenge, you can reach your goals.”
Mohammed defined real leader’s main objectives. He said, “The real leader is the one who seeks the interests of his people and exerts all efforts to achieve them.”
Sheikh Mohammed stressed the leader has to give a hand to his assistants, followers and his work team.” “He has to train them, educate them and spend time with them until they become the way he is and reach the top they are aspiring to.”
“The leader also has to urge them, give them trust and hand them the responsibility,” Sheikh Mohammed added.
Earlier, Sheikh Mohammed affirmed that there is no finish line for the race for excellence, and that everyone has to take risks in their life, but the greatest danger is that one never takes a risk.
Sheikh Mohammed stressed that he and his team fulfil their promise when they promise something.
Sheikh Mohammed said, “I always tell my team, in the race for excellence there is no finish line and this becomes more realistic every day… When we promise, we fulfil the promise… We all have dreams, but only the leader can transform them into reality. We all take risks in life, but the greatest danger is not to take risks at all. “
Sheikh Mohammed said that it is not possible for him to agree to implement a project or embody an idea into reality if it does not draw his attention, or if he is not 100% convinced of it.
Sheikh Mohammed said, “When I talk about what our fathers did and reached and see our small role and what we have achieved, I feel enthusiastic… Follow-up and support is required to develop the country...”
Sheikh Mohammed said he does not work alone, but is part of a large work team including young people who do tremendous work.
“We have a vision. A project or idea is not implemented unless I am 100% convinced of it, and in case I am convinced, I do not stop.”
