Asian steals bus chairs to sell them for Dhs700 in Dubai

A 30-year-old Asian was arrested and prosecuted by the Dubai Public Prosecution for stealing bus seats and selling them to scrap shop in Dubai.

The robbery took place during last March, when police’s operations room received a call about the robbery of 6 chairs from a bus parked in Al Qusais Area.

According to official records investigations teams successfully identified the defendant and arrested him.

The defendant confessed to stealing the seats in order to sell them to a scrap shop for Dhs700.

He also confessed to committing similar robberies in Al Qusais Area.
