His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, stressed the need of being active and energetic and this should be the lifestyle.

Sheikh Mohammed stressed that he wants the people of the Emirates to have a high physical fitness, because it is strongly linked to work productivity and because the lazy person will not produce anything.

Sheikh Mohammed noted that a physically fit person is useful to his society, while the inactive person will normally get out of the race of excellence after his inactivity turns into laziness, and then, he becomes miserable.

Sheikh Mohammed added, "I want my people to have a high physical fitness, the elderly and the young alike. If you are physically good, you will be useful... Now you must be the best, do not sit idle, otherwise you will be out of the race and you will be miserable. The lazy can not produce anything."

Sheikh Mohammed mentioned in a video clip he posted on Instagram within the tag # Leadership Flashes, stressing that history teaches us that the rise of civilizations and the prosperity of nations and peoples are linked to knowledge.
