UAE leaders say happiness lies in our families, share New Year greetings

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, said that the year 2020 was the year of challenges and with unity we can overcome anything.

Sheikh Mohammed said on Twitter, “2020 was the year of challenges and achievements. The year that has brought our core values to light and the year we have proved that we are stronger together.

“In kindness and determination, our teams have come together to overcome a major challenge and they have led by example.

“2020 has taught us that unity is strength, that happiness lies in our families, that excellence is in giving, that health comes before politics and economy, and that placing confidence in youth can lead us to the stars.”

Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed said on Twitter, “In 2020, the people of the UAE have overcome unprecedented challenges with strength and resilience. As we enter 2021, we do so with a shared sense of unity, determination and optimism for the New Year ahead. I wish the people of the UAE a safe, prosperous and Happy New Year.”
