UAE reports 1,321 new COVID-19 cases, 792 recoveries and 3 deaths

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), on Thursday announced 1,321 new coronavirus cases.

The new cases bring the total number of recorded cases in the country to 189,866.

 

According to the Ministry the infected individuals belong to nationalities, are receiving the necessary care and are in a stable condition.

 

The Ministry said that over the past 24 hours it has conducted 139,909 additional COVID-19 using state-of-the-art medical testing equipment.

 

“Three patients getting treatment for COVID-19 died due complications,” said the Ministry statement.

 

The latest casualties bring the total number of deaths in the country to 629.

 

The Ministry statement also noted that an additional 792 individuals had fully recovered from COVID-19 after the treatment.

 

This brings the total number of recoveries in the UAE to 166,541.

 

The Ministry expressed its sincere condolences to the family of the deceased and wished COVID-19 patients a speedy and full recovery.

 

The Ministry reiterated its commitment to continue expanding the scope of testing nationwide to facilitate the early detection of coronavirus cases and carry out the necessary treatment.
