Dubai Civil Defence teams put out a massive fire that broke out in two warehouses in Ras Al Khor Industrial Area on Sunday.
There were no reports of any casualties.
Civil defence teams were alerted about the incident at around 11:30 am on Sunday, indicating that a fire broke out in two warehouses containing aluminium.
Civil and rescue teams arrived at the scene in 5 minutes and with the help of back-up teams that arrived to provide more support the fire was successfully controlled within a record time by 12:18pm.
According to an official source at the Civil Defence, the firefighting teams were rushed from the Rashidiya station to the location where the fire erupted when the operations room was alerted about it at exactly 8.50am on Saturday.
Sheikh Mansoor Bin Mohammed also visited the site along with officials to assess the situation.
Residents have been urged to regularly maintain electrical systems and keep all inflammable items in safe places.
The teams evacuated the building and started fighting the fire. This continued till 9:40am when the fire was reportedly brought under control.
