The Criminal Court in Dubai heard a case in which a 27-year-old Asian man is charged with abusing privacy of his female flat partners by photographing them, using his phone.
In the sharing apartment, where a number of men and women were living, the accused reportedly filmed the girls, while they were in washroom and kept those videos on his mobile phone, the Court heard.

This was in the past August, when a girl filed a report with the police, stating that a person filmed her and the girls in the apartment, inside the toilets, and kept pictures and videos in his phone.
She reportedly saw the phone hidden before the door of her room, which the camera was recording. She found in its content a number of videos of her and other girls in the apartment, almost naked.
The accused confessed to the charges against him in the prosecution's investigations.
Consequently, the Court ordered his continued detention under custody of the case.
