His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, congratulated the nation on the New Hijri Year.

Sheikh Rashid tweeted, “We congratulate the people of the Emirates and the Islamic nation on the occasion of the new Hijri year. A year that renews in us great meanings and noble values and lofty prophetic principles.”

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces also greeted the people of the UAE on New Hijri Year.

Mohamed Bin Zayed tweeted: ‘On the occasion of the Islamic New Year, we congratulate the people of the UAE and the Islamic world. We pray that this will be a year of peace and prosperity for all. The Hijra is an inspiring chapter in our history, with valuable lessons for humanity.’
