Saudi family, 4 Pakistanis charred to death in horrific traffic accident

In a tragic incident, nine people were killed in a traffic accident at the intersection that connects Al-Jedar Governorate with the village of Shuwaymis 250 km south of Ha'il, Saudi Arabia.

A collision occurred between two vehicles, one was carrying a Saudi family of five, a man, his wife, daughters, and the other vehicle was carrying four workers of Pakistani nationality, a local Saudi daily reported.

The accident led a fire on both cars.Trapped people were charred to death.

The Civil Defence teams reached the site and doused the flames. The bodies were transferred to the morgue.

The deceased lady's colleagues and friends have created a hashtag in Arabic on Twitter that translates to #Haya_Saud_And_her_family_passes_way.”

Twitter pioneers prayed for peace and solace.

Sources said that the family also have a son, who was not with them during the incident.

He stayed at home in the city of Ha'il, where his father works in the police.

The colleagues of the family’s father, Sergeant Naif Marzouq Al-Rashidi, mourned their colleague, calling for mercy on the family.

His colleagues and all who dealt with him loved the Saudi man.

The man was preparing for his early retirement next week.
