A bus driver caused 3 severe injuries to some workers who were hit by a car on Al Khail Road in Dubai, heading to Abu Dhabi.

The driver stopped the bus in the middle of the road after one of its tyres exploded.

Brigadier Saif Muheir Al Mazrouei, Director of the General Traffic Department at Dubai Police, confirmed the driver dropped the workers in the middle of the street, which resulted 3 of them to be hit by a speeding car, whose driver did not notice them.

Al Mazrouei indicated the police patrols in the area of jurisdiction immediately rushed to the scene, where they handled the damaged bus, secured the traffic perimeter. The ambulance team took care of the injured and transported them to a nearby hospital.

The authorities have urged motorists to be vigilant in the streets and abide by traffic laws.

Such negligent act could have endangered the lives of others.
