The UAE Health Ministry conducted more than 26,000 COVID-19 tests in various regions of the country, and announced the registration of 557 new coronavirus cases. The total number of infection jumped to 13,038.
The Ministry announced the death of 6 people of different nationalities who were infected with the virus, and as a result of complications associated with other diseases. This brings the number of deaths in the country to 111.
The ministry extended its sincere condolences and sympathy family of the deceased.
The number of recovered cases in the country increased to 2,543, after 114 new cases recovered from the virus.
The UAE government announced that 170 people had recovered from COVID-19 after receiving the necessary care, bringing the total number of recoveries to 588. Following additional testing of over 20,000 people in the past few days, 376 individuals were confirmed positive, bringing the total number of cases to 3,736.
The ministry also announced that the total number of recovered cases of COVID-19 has reached 680 with 92 cases fully recovered.
The tests were conducted among different segments of the society, using the best and latest medical examination techniques.
This decision excludes the parking zones that are subject to fees on all days of the week, including Fridays and public holidays. These zones are identified by the blue parking instructions signs.
