New facility can conduct over 250 tests per day; test results will be available in 48 hours
The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) has joined TikTok to launch the #ThankYouHeroes challenge. The challenge provides a platform for the TikTok UAE community to express their appreciation for the hard work and dedication shown by the country’s first line of defenders against COVID-19.
Dubai Health Authority (DHA) said on Sunday that children aged between 3-16 could now be tested for COVID-19 by providing a saliva sample instead of the widely used nasal swab.
The DHA also said, “All those who are due for the second dose of this vaccine will receive a text message with the date and location for their vaccination appointment.”
Nearly 13,400 people were forced to evacuate as water consumed hundreds of homes around the country, turning some streets into raging rivers of brown water, according to Haiti’s Civil Protection Agency.

The authorities said, “Abu Dhabi Police and Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority teams are dealing with a fire that broke out this evening at a warehouse in Mussafah industrial area.
"Every year, over 400m tonnes of plastic is produced worldwide - one-third of which is used just once,” said Antonio Guterres. "Every day, the equivalent of over 2,000 garbage trucks full of plastic is dumped into our oceans, rivers, and lakes.”
