Dubai orders 80% of private sector employees to work from home until April 9

Dubai Economy, the authority regulating business in the Emirates, on Wednesday directed all private companies and commercial establishment to adhere to implementing remote works system for 80% of their employee from Wednesday (March 25) to April 9, 2020.

Pharmacies, cooperative societies, grocery stores and supermarkets are exempted from the ruling.

The move is one of the many precautionary and  preventive measures taken by the authorities to ensure public health and safety.
