The Dubai Public Prosecution referred 2 Asians to criminal court for assaulting a man and stealing his wallet.
Details of the incident date back to last December, when the victim reported being assaulted and robbed at the Spain Cluster in International City, Dubai.
The victim testified that the two suspects stopped him and asked for a change of Dhs200.
Once the victim took out his wallet, one of the suspects suddenly punched him in the face, snatched his wallet and ran away.
The stolen wallet had an amount of Dhs2,300 and a couple of identification cards that belongs to the victim.
The two suspects are now detained, and facing theft and assault charges.
