The Government of Dubai Media Office denies false statements attributed to the Philippine Labour Secretary regarding a Filipina dying in Dubai due to the coronavirus.
According to statement on the media office account, the woman passed away from a respiratory disease based on a medical test carried out.
Coronavirus, a new virus that began in Wuhan, China. So far it has infected more than 28,200 people globally.
In China, it has caused more than 563 deaths.
The virus has affected the economy of China, thousands in different part of the world have been quarantined due to the outbreak.
