Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai on Sunday honoured a teacher whose video of greeting students on the first day of the winter semester has gone viral.
This came during the cabinet meeting chaired by Sheikh Mohammed on Sunday.
“Today I presided over a cabinet meeting whose first item was to honour Sheikha Al Naimi with her mother, a social worker in one of Al Ain’s schools, for setting a great example of how the school could be a source of positive energy with a warm hug by a teacher,” tweeted Sheikh Maohammed.
“Sheikha Al-Naimi cheered all of us ... with her positivity ... and her energy ... and tenderness ... and treated the sons of the homeland as if they were her sons and children ... she is an example and role model not only for our schools but even for our government institutions,” Sheikh Mohammed tweeted further.
Sheikh Mohammed said, “I learned from the Ministers of Education about the latest preparations for the start of the next academic year... We look forward to a safe start and in accordance with the best safety standards for more than a million students within the education system in the Emirates.”
