Mother buys Dubai Shopping Festival gift raffle ticket for son, wins Infiniti QX50, Dhs200,000

Mothers have a very special place in our lives and hearts but how many of them can change our luck around. Ibrahim Tleel, a Lebanese engineer at a consulting company in Dubai can confirm that this is indeed possible.

The 49-year old father of two flew his mother to Dubai for a week to visit her family and enjoy everything Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) has to offer across the city. During her short stay, Ibrahim’s mother purchased a Mega Raffle ticket at a petrol station as a gift for her son. As a result, Ibrahim won an Infiniti QX50 and Dhs200,000 in cash in the daily Infiniti Mega Raffle, part of the 25th edition of DSF.

Commenting on his mother’s stroke of luck the engineer said, “I still can’t believe it. This ticket has made all my dreams come true. It has secured my children’s future and given me peace of mind. The cash prize will go straight into savings for my children and as for the car, I’ve decided to keep it.”
