The Dubai Civil Defence teams put out a fire which broke out on a yacht at Dubai Marina. No injuries were reported but the yacht sustained limited damage. Witnesses affirmed that Civil Defence teams were rushed to the scene in Dubai Marina near the Marina Shopping Centre.

A source from Dubai Civil Defence added that the firefighting teams contained the fire and that the authorities are investigating it to find out the causes of the fire.

It is noteworthy that this is the second accident in a week, as last Friday’s civil defence teams extinguished a fire in a yacht near Madinat Jumeirah and the accident did not cause any losses or injuries.

More recently, a fire had broken out on a yacht near Madinat Jumeirah in Dubai.

The Dubai Civil Defence (DCD) team members brought the fire under control.

The DCD said on Twitter, “A fire on a yacht near Madinat Jumeirah was brought under control by Dubai Civil Defence. Three people were safely evacuated and no one was injured in the blaze that appears to have been caused by engine failure and fuel leakage.”

A team of experts was at the site to investigate the cause of the fire.
