The winners of the Zayed Sustainability Prize in Abu Dhabi were overcome with emotions as they showered praise on His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, while receiving the awards.
A winner, while almost on the verge of crying, said, “I want to send my most heartfelt thanks to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed…”
Another recalled, “When I shook his hands, he told me to keep his kind remarks in mind…”
The extraordinary response by the participants showed the humility exhibited by the visionary leaders of the UAE.

This year, the Zayed Sustainability Prize during Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week saw some more glimpses of Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed’s wise leadership.
The Zayed Sustainability Prize said on its social media account, “With pioneering leadership rooted in humility and a goal to build a better future, Mohamed Bin Zayed has shown us how our shared humanity connects us all.
“Through an honourable vision, Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan touched the hearts of this year’s Zayed Sustainability Prize winners by sharing the legacy of the founding father of the nation, the late Sheikh Zayed, with the world.
The Zayed Sustainability Prize said,

Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed congratulated the winners and highlighted the importance of encouraging the next generation of pioneers and innovators to be sustainability champions and the significant role they will play in advancing their impact on socio-cultural and economic development.
Sheikh Mohamed also praised the level of sophistication of some of the projects on display and the long-term impact that will have on a worldwide, as well as local, community level.
The new nation brand will reflect the UAE’s exceptional and successful experience as a country with ambitions, dreams and aspirations of no limit.
The Abu Dhabi Crown Prince was accompanied by Mohamed Alabbar, Chairman of Emaar Properties.
