Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest edifice, was emblazoned with the saffron, white, green and forest green colours of India and Pakistan on Friday, as the two countries celebrated Independence Day on Aug.14 and Aug.15.

The firm, Znera Space, which specialises in radical architectural marvels, said that a giant ring-like structure known as the Downtown Circle will encircle the Burj Khalifa.
