Indoor-Arena

The all-purpose, air-conditioned indoor arena can accomodate 17,000 spectators.

With a capacity of 17,000, the largest all-purpose, air-conditioned indoor arena in the Middle East and North Africa (Mena), the incredible Coca-Cola Arena is set to open on Thursday in Dubai with a live show by Russell Peters followed by a concert by Maroon 5 on June 14.

The giant entrance sign on the arena has been installed – signalling the countdown to the history making first ever-live event at Dubai’s new multipurpose indoor venue.

It has taken over a whopping 5.65 million working hours since ground was broken in 2017 to turn the ambitious project into a reality, with the live entertainment and sport world hailing Coca-Cola Arena as a “game-changing” opening for Dubai and the rest of the Middle East.

Adding to the landscape of Meraas’ City Walk, Coca-Cola Arena has taken centre stage as the newest entertainment hub of the live entertainment scene in Dubai, with its sparkling new sign standing tall at a height of 537cm and a total of 2,685 LEDs.

Nestling into its new home against the Coca-Cola brand red LED façade lights the bright white sign with its iconic curling ribbon “C’s” will be an incredible sight for arena visitors.

AEG Ogden’s CEO of Coca-Cola Arena Guy Ngata said “The Coca-Cola Arena sign being installed onto the venue is the moment the UAE recognises the arena is ready to welcome guests inside to experience the very best of live entertainment from around the globe. Having the sign fully completed and in position portrays the final step in transforming the building into a place where memories are made and we are incredibly excited to welcome our first visitors and performers this week.”

Shifting the game of live entertainment in Dubai, Coca-Cola Arena is perfectly positioned in the heart of bustling City Walk.

The Meraas built urban lifestyle destination is packed full of chic eateries and boutique shopping outlets all on the doorstep of Coca-Cola Arena.
