International businessman and art collector Rashid Khalaf Al Habtoor has officially acquired the video artworks from the first and second series of Women in Love, the acclaimed artistic, cultural and humanitarian project created by artist, philanthropist, producer, and human rights advocate Benedetta Paravia.
This acquisition marks a significant milestone for the project, which has gained international recognition for its unique ability to combine contemporary art, female empowerment and humanitarian impact. It also paves the way for growing interest from collectors, investors, and entrepreneurs across the Gulf region and beyond.
The announcement follows the recent institutional presentation held on February 6th 2026, at WEGIL in the Lazio Region, where the new Women in Love series, “Sounds of Love”, was unveiled in the presence of sponsoring institutions, business leaders and Italian representatives from the political and cultural sectors.
Already celebrated internationally, Women in Love received the prestigious “Best Project for Female Empowerment” award at the House of Lords in London in 2022, recognizing not only its artistic value but also its humanitarian significance.
The proceeds from the artworks acquired by Rashid Khalaf Al Habtoor have been donated to A.N.G.E.L.S. APS, the Italian humanitarian organization founded in 2008 to support medical care for sick children, victims of war and the protection of women’s rights worldwide.
With current market valuations ranging between €25,000 and €40,000 per artwork, Benedetta Paravia’s digital creations are attracting increasing attention not only for their visual intensity and symbolic feminine language but also for their rare ability to merge artistic expression with measurable humanitarian impact.
“This project is unique because with the video art I create, A.N.G.E.L.S. is able to provide free reconstructive surgeries for young women who have suffered genital mutilation, helping restore the status quo that existed before the violence. In this way, collectors become part of a humanitarian mission capable of changing lives and restoring dignity to mutilated women.”
The acquisition by Rashid Khalaf Al Habtoor further strengthens the growing dialogue between Italy and the United Arab Emirates in the fields of culture, investment, and female empowerment—a bridge that Benedetta Paravia continues to reinforce through international collaboration.
