His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, gifted the House of Wisdom in Sharjah, a rare collection of books consisting of 646 publications in French, covering various aspects such as history, geography, arts, literature, philosophy, and others, enriching the collection of Arab and Islamic heritage.

The collection contains rare historical literature books dating back to the late 19th century. This addition enriches the House's vast cultural and knowledge storehouse for visitors wishing to explore the history of the Middle East.

Among the antiquarian books is "Constantinople et l'Égypte," by Cesar Vimercati, published in 1858, which is a comprehensive study of the political and economic relationship between Istanbul and Egypt.
