A video of Bollywood's superstar Salman Khan's sister Arpita Khan breaking plates with her friends in a hotel in Dubai has gone viral. Arpita has been facing severe criticism for her action.
Sharmila Maiti, a film journalist and TV anchor, shared the video.
Sharmila wrote on her Instagram account, “Salman Khan's sister Arpita Khan smashed many many plates and danced her heart out at a Greek restaurant…”
The video showed Arpita breaking plates with her friends in a hotel in Dubai.
Initially, she would was throwing the plates while sitting on a chair, then she danced to her husband Ayush Sharma's film song with other women and continued to break the plates.
People have strongly criticised Arpita for breaking the plates with other women.
One user wrote, “You should be ashamed to have fun in such actions, if you leave food, there are people in the world who do not even have a plate to eat, man should stay within his limits because the fall, it doesn't take long to arrive.”
Shilpa Mehta criticised the act, saying these people feel that they are doing a good job by breaking the plates.
Another user wrote, “It is better to give those plates to a needy person rather than breaking all of it. “
A social media user said, “May be she is catching up with Salman’s bad habits.”
It is not clear when the incident took place, but the video did not go down well with the celebs and media.
