Internationally distinguished lawyer Romain Gerardin-Fresse founder of GFK Strategies eyes Dubai market

Romain, a lifelong resident of France and founder of a world-renowned law firm GFK Strategies in France in 2017 and expanded to the UAE in 2019 with his office in Emirates Tower which also houses office of H.H Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.
In his own words Romain says, “I took the gamble of setting up a firm that concentrated on all the parameters of the consultancy package: law, strategy definition, financial management, crisis management, and personalized support for their direct investments abroad. We were no longer just a law firm, but in fact a multifunctional tool that became their daily support. The gamble paid off, and in the face of growing demand I opened in the UK, then New York, Dubai and finally Singapore. The Covid-19 crisis reinforced our position as a leader in crisis management. Gradually, the development of our client base has also led us to manage more and more sports and acting careers, in all their various aspects.”
His efforts in the law field were vindicated when he was recently been named ‘Middle East Outstanding Leader of the Year’ at the Burj CEO Awards by the CEO Clubs Network in Dubai. His name was in the spotlight at Time Square in New-York yesterday following his winning CEO Clubs awards recently.
He was awarded for his outstanding leadership and exceptional professional achievements with two honours, including one presented during the recent CEO Clubs awards season. This accolade, awarded by global membership organization, CEO Clubs Network Worldwide, celebrate Romain's work in building his international legal advisory firm, GFK Strategies Alliance, which incorporates GFK Middle East.
First among his recent distinctions was the award for 'Middle East Outstanding CEO of the Year', which was presented to Romain at the 6th edition of the Burj CEO Awards, in recognition of GFK's expansion in the Middle East, and its long-term presence in Dubai. He has also received the 'Outstanding European CEO Achiever of the Year' award at the 2023 CEO Night held on September 17.
He will be honoured at the Emirates Finest Business Awards, which recognise the local community and expatriates who have particularly distinguished themselves on November 30th and on December 8th he is due to attend the Golden Trees Awards.
