The shows to watch

It’s a new year and time to experience new things in all aspects of life. This week we are taking a look at the world of television with a fantastic list of some of the best shows to expect in the year ahead.

“Stranger Things” fans will be excited for the fifth and final season. The show that put Millie Bobby Brown on the map has enjoyed huge success over than span of eight years after the first episode aired in 2016. The science fiction show’s cast are starting to look a little too old to play high school students. The fifth season is due to start filming in June of this year and I hope that the ending will do the spectacular show justice.

Another show to look out for is “Mr & Mrs Smith.” Yes, it is a TV version of the 2005 movie of the same name which was responsible for Brangelina. Instead of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, Donald Glover and Maya Erskine will play the married couple who both happen to be assassins. The spy comedy is set to air next month.

If costume dramas are you thing then get ready for “The New Look.” This biographical drama sees the rise of fashion designer Christian Dior in Paris after World War II. The series features actors Ben Mendelsohn, Juliette Binoche, Maisie Williams and Hugo Becker and was created by Todd Kessler.
