Two individuals perished as a consequence of a fire-related incident in a hotel structure situated in the Naif area, Dubai. The cause of death was determined to be asphyxiation due to smoke inhalation.
In a statement released on Saturday via its official account on the X platform, the Dubai Government Media Office confirmed that civil defence teams arrived at the scene within six minutes and initiated evacuation procedures, combating the fire and providing assistance for those affected.
The General Directorate of Civil Defence extended its deepest sympathies and condolences to the families of the deceased.
