His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, announced on Saturday the new ministerial formation of the federal government in the UAE.
 Sheikh Mohammed wrote on Twitter: "Brothers and sisters... after consulting with my brother Mohamed Bin Zayed and the president of the state, we announce today the new ministerial formation of the federal government in the UAE... and with the new formation we also announce a new methodology for the federal government work for the fifty." 

The new methodology comes with the completion of our previous plan “UAE Vision 2021,” during which we achieved our ambitions for the previous ten years… the UAE today leads the world in 100 development indicators and tops the region in 470 governmental, economic and technical indicators… we enter the new fifty with different global ambitions.”

Sheikh Mohammed added: "We need to change the tools of change that we use... the new methodology of government work we will rely on to accelerate achievements… set priorities... and approve projects and budgets... and we demand all federal institutions to work with it and commit to shift towards it."

Sheikh Mohammed continued, "We announce the new ministerial formation of the government of the UAE... Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has been appointed as Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance. 
“We also announce the appointment of Muhammad Bin Hadi Al Husseini as Minister of State for Financial Affairs to succeed Brother Obaid Al Tayer... 
“Our thanks and appreciation to Brother Obaid for his service and dedication during the previous years... 

“I wish him new years to serve his country in new sectors… Today we also announce the appointment of Abdullah Bin Sultan Bin Awad Al Nuaimi as Minister of Justice... And the appointment of Dr Abdul Rahman Al Awar as Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation... We thank and appreciate Brother Sultan Al Badi and Brother Nasser Al Hamli for their role, efforts and service during previous periods... Today we also announce the appointment of Maryam Al Muhairi as Minister of Climate Change and Environment and the transfer of the file Food and water security for the ministry... and the appointment of brother Abdullah Bin Muhair Al Ketbi as Minister of the Federal Supreme Council Affairs...” 

Sheikh Mohammed said, “All the best in their new duties.”
Crown Prince of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, also took to Twitter to congratulate his brother, Sheikh Maktoum Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid, on the new appointment.
"With the support of our wise leadership, our country continues the process of empowering the youth," Sheikh Hamdan wrote on his Twitter account. "We are confident that Maktoum Bin Mohammed, with his leadership experience, great achievements and extensive experience, will play a pivotal role in the new 50-year march."
