UAE reports 8 coronavirus deaths, 525 new cases

The Ministry of Health and Prevention conducted over 32,000 additional COVID-19 tests among citizens and residents, resulting in the detection of 525 new cases among various nationalities. The total number of cases in the UAE has now reached 9,281 on Friday.

The ministry announced the death of 8 person infected with the virus, and in conjunction with the chronic diseases that they were suffering from, bringing the number of deaths in the state to 64 cases. The Ministry offered its sincere condolences to the families of the deceased. It also wished a speedy recovery to all patients and called upon the general public to strictly adhere to preventative measures out of concern for the health and safety of all.

The Ministry said that the number of recovery cases in the country has reached to 1,760, after the recovery of 123 new cases infected with the virus.
