VIDEO: Dubai’s ‘deep tunnel’ to end waterlogging problems for the next 100 years

Dubai Municipality to introduce “Deep Tunnel” project that will help in draining rainwater. The tunnel is proposed to serve the city for 100 years.
According to Dubai Municipality, with 10 million man-hours on site, the project completion rate has reached 75 per cent. It will be ready in September 2020.
The UAE has been experiencing a lot of rainfall in the past months.
The unprecedented rainfall in the country that led to flooding last week was swiftly managed by the local authorities with support from Xylem.
