Delivery man in the dock for molesting teenaged girl

The Dubai Criminal Court on Thursday heard the case of a seller working for a water company, who delivered water bottles to apartments. The seller was charged with molesting a 14-year-old student, taking advantage of her being alone in her apartment. He offered to pay Dhs100 for the water bottles her father had bought.

According to the case papers, when the victim was in her family’s house, the doorbell rang and she opened it. When the seller went in, he insisted on putting one of the bottles on the water cooler himself.

He then asked for a cup of water and later he molested her. She was scared and screamed but he said her father did not pay Dhs100 for water bottles.

He hinted that he would pay the amount in return for allowing him to approach her, but she yelled at him again and he fled from the apartment. She then called her mother and reported what happened to her.
