We are broadcasting the live launch of the Soyuz spacecraft on the screen next to Hub Zero at City Walk, Dubai, between 4pm — 8pm on Wednesday, with countdown starting at 5.30pm.
Hazzaa Al Mansoori will be the first Emirati astronaut to enter space as he travels from Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan to the International Space Station.
Having undergone a rigorous training programme over the last year and with over 14 years of experience as a military pilot flying F-16 jets, Hazzaa Al Mansoori is set to write a new chapter in the UAE’s history book.
