Awqaf and Minors Affairs Foundation (AMAF) extended a contribution worth Dhs200,000 to Erada Centre for Treatment and Rehab (Erada) to help the centre upgrade its facilities and equipment and enhance patient care.
Based in Dubai, Erada is an independent organisation that offers treatment and rehabilitation services to people with drug and alcohol addiction, assists them with reintegration into society and provides guidance to their families. The centre also raises awareness about the condition and conducts scientific research in the field.
Ali Al Mutawa, Secretary General of AMAF, handed over the check to Dr Mohammad Fayek, CEO of Erada, in the presence of Omar Juma Kalandar, Head of AMAF’s Endowment Development Department, and Mohammad Al Kamzari, Head of Marketing and PR at AMAF.
Ali Al Mutawa said “As part of its social responsibility and its efforts to enhance solidarity among the community, AMAF is keen to support local entities that help society deal with the negative impacts of substance abuse.” A Deserved Honor senior emplyee
Separately, Dar Al-Ber Society honoured one of its senior employees for his 20 years of service, as he recently ended his service in the society.
On behalf of Hisham Ali Al Hashemi, Deputy Director of Dar Al Ber, AbdulAzim Mohammed, Director of the Technical Office of the Society, honored the observed member (Mumtaz AlSayyedMurad) at the headquarter of the Society in Sheikh Zayed Road in Dubai.
The staff member Mumtaz Al Sayyed, who served as the “Charity Funds’ Coordinator” in the Society’s Resources Development Department, was honoured by Dar Al-Ber, as per the directives of Deputy Executive Director of the society, beside the keen nessand follow up of the head of Institutional Support Department in the society, in recognition and appreciation of his efforts in two decades, his hard and sincere work, his good behaviour with his colleagues and his discipline at work.
