UFC 333: VOLKANOVSKI vs EVLOEV has officially sold out, with the Etihad Arena on Yas Island set to welcome a capacity crowd this Saturday, for a blockbuster night featuring two championship bouts.
The sell-out reflects strong demand from fight fans across the region and beyond for one of the biggest UFC cards of the year.
Held in partnership with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), UFC 333 will mark the 24th UFC event hosted in Abu Dhabi, continuing a long-term partnership that has brought some of the sport’s biggest events and athletes to the UAE capital.
Headlining the card, UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski (28-4-0, fighting out of Windang, New South Wales, Australia) will defend his title against undefeated No. 1-ranked contender Movsar Evloev (20-0-0, fighting out of Ingushetia, Russia). In the co-main event, UFC bantamweight champion Petr Yan (20-5-0, fighting out of Omsk, Russia) will defend his title against former champion and No. 1-ranked contender Merab Dvalishvili (21-5-0, fighting out of Garden City Park, New York) in the third chapter of their rivalry.
The stacked main card also features No. 6-ranked flyweight Lone’er Kavanagh against No. 10 Ramazan Temirov, No. 2-ranked heavyweight Alexander Volkov against No. 7 Rizvan Kuniev, and No. 11-ranked featherweight Aaron Pico against Losene Keita.
UFC 333 headlines Abu Dhabi Showdown Week, which runs from October 19–25 and brings together UFC athlete appearances, fan experiences and live combat sports across the capital.
