UAE teams sweep top three spots at Seashore Phoenix Games in Qatar

UAE teams claimed the top three places at the sixth edition of the Seashore Phoenix Games 2026, a fitness competition held in Qatar.
CrossFit Al Ain won first place, followed by RIG UAE in second and QHP Coal UAE in third, in an achievement that reflects the growing presence of UAE fitness athletes in regional competitions.
Sheikh Abdullah Bin Hamad Bin Saif Al Sharqi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the UAE Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation, attended the competition.
He congratulated the UAE teams and athletes on their results and praised their achievements. He also reviewed the competition’s organizational and technical experience.
Sheikh Abdullah presented commemorative shields on behalf of the UAE Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation to Irada Fitness, the organizer of the competition, and Aspire Zone Foundation, which hosted the event.
He also presented a commemorative shield to Saad Bin Ali Al Kharji, Chairman of Qatar Tourism and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Visit Qatar, in recognition of their role in supporting and contributing to the success of the competition.
Speaking during the event, Sheikh Abdullah said his attendance reflected the federation’s commitment to following regional and international developments in fitness sports and strengthening cooperation with sports institutions across the Gulf.
He said exchanging expertise and experiences would contribute to the development of fitness sports and create greater opportunities for UAE athletes to compete in specialized regional and international events.
During his visit, Sheikh Abdullah met Khalid Abdullah Al Hammadi, General Manager of Irada Fitness; Khalid Abdulaziz Nabina, Chairman of the Seashore Phoenix Games Organizing Committee; and Nasser Abdullah Al Hajri, Acting General Manager of Aspire Logistics.
He was briefed on the competition’s organizational arrangements, as well as the technical and logistical capabilities provided by Aspire Zone to host the event.
UAE athletes also delivered strong performances in the individual competitions.
Ridwan Al Ghadwani won first place in the men’s RX category, while Mustafa Al Salhi finished second and Hamza Maher took third.
In the Masters category, Dennis Katana claimed first place, followed by Khalifa Al Sabri in second and Ragheed Al Ghazi in third.
The UAE also secured the top three positions in the National Teams category, with Irada – Al Hashimi taking first place, Irada – Legacy finishing second and Irada Al Khor – No Fear placing third.
The sixth edition of the Seashore Phoenix Games brought together more than 400 male and female athletes representing more than 40 countries.
The men’s competitions were held from September 10 to 12, followed by the women’s events from September 13 to 14.
