The 70th anniversary of the founding of Dubai Police was celebrated on Wednesday, at the Majlis of Omar Zubair Al Marzouqi in Al Warqa 3, Dubai, bringing together a distinguished gathering of business leaders, entrepreneurs, and professionals from diverse international backgrounds.
The event was attended by a notable group of guests representing various sectors, reflecting the strong multicultural ties within the UAE’s business community.
Dubai Police is widely recognised for its pioneering role in policing innovation, artificial intelligence, smart services and proactive security solutions.
“Throughout its history, the force has played a central role in maintaining safety and stability while supporting Dubai’s economic growth, social development and global competitiveness,” said Omar Zubair Al Marzouqi, the retired Major of Dubai Police.
Omar Al Marzouqi attributed the Dubai Police’s achievements to the support and vision of the UAE’s leadership.
Omar Al Marzouqi credited the achievements of Dubai Police to the unwavering support and visionary leadership of the UAE’s rulers. He specifically lauded His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, whose guidance has been pivotal in driving Dubai’s development and advancing its state-of-the-art security infrastructure.
Among those present was Iman Asadi, CEO of Sefid Properties LLC, alongside Syed Basheer, founder of W2WTS, , and President of BNI Energy, who has been residing in the UAE since 2011.
Also in attendance was Sebi Jose, founder of me2connect, and Shanmuga Priya Veluchamy, Director of APRK Information Technology Co. LLC.
Phan Thanh Hai, Chairman of Vietrade Hub Center, attended the celebration, accompanied by Wendy Trinh, Vice Chairperson.
Representing the corporate sector were Pratik Jam, Director Middle East at IAG Company, and Bhavin Kapadia, Global Director at Invade Argo Global (IAG).
The gathering also included Hussnain Jaffery, GMB Client Manager at Google, California, further highlighting the international and cross-industry presence at the event.
The celebration reflected both appreciation for the legacy of Dubai Police over the past 70 years and the strong spirit of community engagement among residents and professionals in the UAE.
