Al Dhafra made a perfect start, taking the lead after just one minute through Karim El Berkaoui, who scored the fastest goal of the season. Bani Yas responded in the 36th minute, with Youssoufou Niakaté finding the equalizer to bring his side back into the game.
In the second half, El Berkaoui struck again in the 56th minute to restore Al Dhafra’s lead. However, Bani Yas continued to push forward and were rewarded in the 82nd minute when substitute Nassim Chadli scored the equalizer, securing a point for his team.
Following the result, Bani Yas move to 26 points in ninth place, while Al Dhafra reach 19 points in 13th. Al Dhafra dominated the first half, enjoying 70.8% possession compared to 29.2% for Bani Yas, while also registering more attempts on goal. Despite that, Bani Yas stayed resilient and made the most of their chances.
A key turning point came in the 79th minute when Al Dhafra’s standout performer Karim El Berkaoui was forced off due to injury. Bani Yas capitalized on the shift in momentum, increasing their pressure before eventually finding the equalizer through Chadli.
In another match, Dibba secured a crucial 2-1 victory over Al Bataeh at the Dibba Stadium.
The win proved vital for Dibba, lifting them to 20 points and out of the relegation zone, sitting in 12th place, while Al Bataeh remain anchored at the bottom of the table with 19 points, struggling to find form.

The visitors came into the match looking to strengthen their grip on third place, while Ajman aimed to build momentum on home soil, and both sides showed flashes of quality across an evenly balanced encounter.
Ajman struck first just before the interval. A moment of real quality down the flank saw Saad El Hadani deliver a precise cross into the danger area, where Victor Henrique timed his run perfectly and finished from close range to give the hosts a deserved lead heading into the break.
Al Jazira responded with greater urgency after the restart and were rewarded early in the second half. A scramble inside the penalty area created the opening, and Mohamed Elneny reacted quickest, calmly slotting home from close range to bring his side level five minutes after the interval.
