In a sporting achievement reflecting the significant growth of Fujairah in the sports sector, the organizers of the Sports Industry Awards in the Middle East (SPIA 2026) announced that Fujairah Martial Arts Club has been shortlisted in seven different award categories.
The SPIA Awards are the region’s most prestigious accolades, recognizing excellence and innovation in the sports industry.
The club’s presence on the final shortlist is an international acknowledgment of the quality of its administrative and technical system and its ability to compete with leading regional sports institutions and organizations.
The club did not limit itself to a single category but secured a place among the elite across multiple strategic tracks. In Digital Innovation, the FMAC App was nominated for Best Use of Technology. For Organizational Excellence, the Fujairah International Taekwondo Championship G2 earned a nomination for Major Sport Event of the Year. In the area of Sustainability and Responsibility, the club was shortlisted for Excellence in Sustainability and Corporate Social Responsibility of the Year – Building Stronger Communities.
Finally, under Shaping the Future, its Building Champions for Tomorrow initiative highlights the club’s commitment to developing future sporting talent and strengthening long-term athlete pathways.
“Rising Sports Leadership Under-3o in the Middle East” category, Maryam Mustafa, a young female talent was shortlisted which underscore the club’s commitment to nurturing the next generation of sports leaders.
Being shortlisted is not merely ceremonial; it is a testament to the club’s high standards, where submissions undergo rigorous evaluation by an international judging panel based on impact metrics, sustainability of results, quality of execution, and high competitiveness.
Sharing the stage with major institutions such as Abu Dhabi Sports Council and Yas Marina Circuit reflects the club’s market and sporting value.
This recognition also strengthens Fujairah’s position as a global destination for hosting and organizing major sports events according to the highest standards.

Fujairah Martial Arts Club previously won the SPIA Middle East Sports Industry Award (SPIA Awards 2025) for Best Sporting Event of 2024, in recognition of its organizational excellence in sporting championships.
