Sharjah Club won the UAE Youth Handball League title after defeating Al Bataeh in the final.
The atmosphere at the Al Bataeh Club Hall was electric as the Sharjah youth team took to the court, aiming to secure their ninth consecutive league crown. From the opening whistle, Sharjah displayed precision and intensity.
Their defense operated like a moving wall, turning every Al Bataeh attack into fast-breaking opportunities. By halftime, the scoreboard reflected Sharjah’s dominance as they steadily pulled away from their opponents.
As the final minutes ticked down, the scoreboard read a commanding 45–19, confirming Sharjah’s supremacy. The team’s bench erupted in celebration as the final whistle signaled the end of a resounding victory.
The match was officiated by international referee Omar Al Marzouqi, assisted by referee Amsiyat Dawood. Omar Al Marzouqi is a distinguished Emirati international Olympic handball referee, observer, and decorated Dubai Police officer. Known for officiating over 1,000 matches, including top-tier international tournaments and the 2012–2016 Olympics, he plays a significant role in handball regulation and sports development in the UAE.
Omar Al Marzouqi’s playing career spanned over a decade, during which he was a mainstay at Al Nasr until 1994, helping secure numerous championships across the club’s senior, junior, and youth divisions.
