UAE national team star Mohammed Hassan was crowned champion of the skeet shooting competition at the Open Masters Games Abu Dhabi 2026 after finishing on top following five rounds of competition.
The skeet event was held at Al Ain Equestrian, Shooting and Golf Club.
Hassan secured first place in a strong field, hitting 122 targets. He recorded a perfect 25 out of 25 in both the first and third rounds.
Marjan Ahmad finished second with 121 targets, followed by UAE’s Saif Bin Futtais, also with 121 targets.
Dinesh placed fourth with 113 targets, Sheikh Khalifa Salman Al Khalifa finished fifth with 113, Sharaf Al Abdoul Ghafoor came sixth with 112, and Obaid Al Khateri placed seventh with 106 targets.
Major General Mohammed Suhail Al Neyadi, President of the UAE Shooting Federation, praised the overall level of the skeet shooters and particularly Hassan’s outstanding performance, describing it as a reflection of the determination of Emirati athletes to return to the podium and achieve further accomplishments that mirror the nation’s sporting progress.
