The Emirates Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation concluded its 2025 season on Sunday by hosting the UAE and Dibba Bodybuilding Championships at the Fujairah Creative Center, with 250 athletes participating in each of the two tournaments.
The events were organized by the Dibba Center for Bodybuilding and Fitness.
Sheikh Abdullah Bin Hamad bin Saif Al Sharqi, President of the Emirates Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation, crowned a selection of winners, in the presence of the federation’s board meembers, the championship organizing Committee President Salem Al Sariidi, and the sponsors of both tournaments.
Emirati athletes achieved remarkable success, winning a total of 25 medals across the two tournaments, including 10 gold, five silver, and 10 bronze, adding to the UAE’s continuing achievements in bodybuilding.
Among the standout results, Ali Dhawi claimed the UAE Physique Champion title, Marwan Suleiman Al Balushi won the Classic Bodybuilding Champion title, and Airly Joham took the Classic Physique Champion title. In the Dibba Championship, the Classic Bodybuilding Champion was Syrian athlete Mohammad Bashir, the Body Style category winner was Egyptian Abdelaziz Talaat, the Classic Physique winner was Iranian Sajjad Heidari, the Muscular category winner was Omani Muhannad bin Rajab, the Bodybuilding category winner was Sri Lankan Raja, and Bahraini Khalid Mohammed Al Saeedi won the Bodybuilding Championship.
At the conclusion of the competitions, Sheikh Abdullah praised the efforts of the organizing committee, expressed his satisfaction with the high level of competition, and emphasized that the federation consistently supports all local and international championships for their role in developing national teams for international participation. He congratulated all athletes who achieved top positions in their respective categories.
Meanwhile, Saridi, President of the Championship Organising Committee, commended the support of the Emirates Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation, congratulated the winners across all categories, and expressed his happiness at the participation of outstanding athletes, including national team members with global and continental achievements. Saridi described the participation of nearly 500 athletes across the two championships as a notable achievement for the organizing committee, reflecting their dedication to providing all positive means that paved the way for prominent participation.
