Al Majid team for bodybuilding concluded its sporting season with remarkable success, after its Emirati athletes delivered standout performances in both local and international competitions throughout the year.
Mohammed Abdulaziz Al Majid, the team’s president and patron, affirmed that Al Majid team entered the season with a clear ambition to achieve top results and proudly represent the UAE in various global arenas.
He said: “We succeeded in adding new achievements to both the team’s and the country’s record, including winning five gold medals, one silver medal, and securing two professional cards at the Marco Pro International Championship in Morocco.”
The season also witnessed the team’s runner-up finish through promising Emirati athlete Hamad Al Falasi at the international Dubai Pro Championship, continuing his impressive trajectory from last season when he achieved a series of notable results.
The team additionally took part in the Dubai Muscle Show with two athletes, Fawaz Al Suairi and Ahmed Abdulsalam. Al Suairi claimed second place in the Men’s Physique category, while Abdulsalam secured third place in the bodybuilding division.
Al Majid highlighted the team’s commitment to competing in top-tier championships both locally and abroad to gain experience, develop internationally, and honor the UAE. He also confirmed the recent participation of athlete Abdullah Rustam in the international championships held in Russia and Kazakhstan.
In line with its ongoing support for the national teams, Al Majid Team Gym’s management announced that it will open its facility—with all its modern equipment—to national team players ahead of official competitions. The gym has also opened its doors to bodybuilding enthusiasts aged 55 and above, reflecting the team’s community-driven mission.
Al Majid also extended his gratitude to the Emirates Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation, chaired by Sheikh Abdullah Bin Hamad Bin Saif Al Sharqi, for its continued efforts in supporting and elevating the sport to the prestigious level it deserves.
