The 2025 season of the Goan Champions League concluded in spectacular fashion, with Mapusa Kings claiming the championship after a thrilling final.
The finals saw Mapusa Kings outshine Ponda Bhaijans, who fought valiantly but fell short in a closely contested showdown.
Panjim Titans and Margao Giants reached the semi-finals, delivering memorable performances and showcasing the growing talent in the league.
The tournament also celebrated individual brilliance. Savud Patel of Mapusa Kings was named both Man of the Tournament and Man of the Finals for his all-round contributions that guided his team to victory. Savud
Rafiq of Ponda Bhaijans earned the Best Batsman award for his exceptional run-scoring feats, while Raja, also from Ponda Bhaijans, was recognized as the Best Bowler for his consistent and incisive bowling performances.
The event was attended by Javed Ahamad, CEO and Founder of Himmath International Properties, who served as the chief guest, alongside Sheikh Afroz, Azim Sheikh, and Imran Khan.
The league was conducted smoothly with the support of experienced umpires, scorers, and commentators, marking the 7th edition of the Goan Champions League as a milestone in the tournament’s history.
