The Jordan national tennis team emerged victorious at the first-ever Fujairah
Nation Cup Tournament, by Tennis & Country Club Fujairah in collaboration with the UAE Tennis Federation.
Jordan clinched the championship with a decisive victory over Qatar in a thrilling final, while Iran secured third place.
Abdul Ghafoor Behroozian, Chairman of the Tennis & Country Club Fujairah and Nasser Yousuf Al Marzouqi, Secretary-General of the UAE Tennis Federation, crowned the winners.
Marzouqi extended congratulations to the top three teams, emphasizing that the tournament represents a significant milestone in the growth and evolution of tennis competitions across the UAE.
He lauded the event for ushering in a new era of excellence in both the quality and organization of national and international tournaments, describing it as a landmark achievement for the Tennis & Country Club Fujairah and a vital step in nurturing and shaping the next generation of Emirati tennis talent.
He added that the outcomes of the tournament would be meticulously analyzed to further elevate the performance and preparedness of the UAE national team for future competitions.
Behroozian praised the remarkable standard of play demonstrated by all participating teams, particularly during the gripping final group stages and semifinals, highlighting the unwavering ambition and competitive spirit that each team brought to the court.
