Fujairah Martial Arts Club delivered an outstanding performance at the Khorfakkan International Judo Championship, held on November 1–2 at the Khorfakkan Sports and Cultural Club, attracting 320 athletes from 27 countries.
The club fielded a strong team of 100 players, who showcased remarkable skill, determination, and teamwork, earning six prestigious trophies across both male and female categories.
In the boys’ divisions, the team claimed first place in the international and national cubs as well as International and national youth, while in the girls’ divisions, they secured first place in the girls category and a second-place trophy in the cubs.
Beyond the trophies, the athletes amassed an impressive total of 54 medals, including 24 gold, 15 silver, and 15 bronze, highlighting the club’s consistent excellence and competitive spirit.
As the UAE’s second-largest judo tournament after Abu Dhabi, the Khorfakkan Championship provided vital exposure and preparation for upcoming events in Fujairah, Kalba, and Sharjah, further strengthening the club’s reputation as a leading force in regional martial arts.
The event underscored the importance of dedication, teamwork, and continuous development in nurturing the next generation of judo champions.
