Sheikh Mohammed Bin Hamad Bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, affirmed the role of sports competitions in attracting athletes from various countries and enhancing the position of Fujairah in the sports sector on the global stage.
This came during Crown Prince of Fujairah’s meeting at his office with Major General (Ret.) Nasser Al Razooqi, President of the UAE and Asian Karate Federations and Vice President of the World Karate Federation, and the accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, he highlighted the support and guidance of His Highness Sheikh Hamad Bin Mohammed Al Sharqi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Fujairah, in developing the sports sector in the country, organising competitions according to the highest standards of quality and efficiency, and enhancing their competitiveness regionally and internationally.
Sheikh Mohammed Bin Hamad Bin Mohammed Al Sharqi reviewed the results of the 2025 World Karate Youth League during the meeting and commended the efforts of the tournament’s organising committee and its positive outcomes, which support the country’s competitiveness in the field of sports.
Razooqi expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Crown Prince of Fujairah for his support and follow-up of sports tournaments and their results.
The meeting was attended by Dr. Ahmed Hamdan Al Zeyoudi, Director of the Office of the Crown Prince of Fujairah; Rashid Abdulmajid Al Ali, Vice President of both the UAE and Asian Karate Federations; and Dr. Abdullah Albadi, Assistant Secretary-General of the UAE Karate Federation and other officials of the federation.
