UAE boxing champion Eisa Al Dah is set to return to the ring at the upcoming International Professional Championship on February 13, 2026, in Dubai, where he will face world champion Kell Brook for the prestigious WBC title, one of the most prominent and respected belts in professional boxing.
Dubbed as Destiny in the Desert, the event is organized by The Agenda, Dubai’s leading organizer of major events, and sponsored by Al Zahra Hospital.
To mark the occasion, the organizing committee will hold a press conference on October 29 to reveal details of the event, which will once again bring global attention to Dubai’s boxing scene.
The championship has already generated great excitement among boxing fans worldwide, especially supporters of UAE legend Eisa Al Dah, with strong interest from both local and international media outlets.
It’s worth noting that Eisa Al Dah is the first professional boxer from the UAE and the Gulf region, and a pioneer in establishing the professional boxing scene in the country. Throughout his career, he has worked to build a strong fan base and local market for the sport, developing a new generation of Emirati and resident professional boxers—making the UAE a key destination for major fights in the region.
Eisa Al Dah was previously scheduled to face the late British champion Ricky Hatton in a world-class fight for the WBC title, before Hatton’s unexpected passing—an event that left a deep emotional mark on the boxing world.
The Emirati, 46, has not fought since losing to Mexico's Pedro Alejandro Delgado by first-round TKO in Mexico City in 2021. His record stands at eight wins against three losses, according to boxrec.com.
