Ski Dubai, in collaboration with the Dubai Sports Council, is gearing up to host the 16th edition of the Ice Warrior Challenge — one of the region’s most anticipated icy endurance events — on Sunday, September 14.
The event will take place inside the award-winning Ski Dubai Snow Park at the Mall of the Emirates, which is voted the World’s Best Indoor Ski Resort.
This year’s challenge has already seen record-breaking registration numbers, with limited spots remaining ahead of the September 12 deadline.
The iconic snow arena at Ski Dubai will be transformed into an adrenaline-fueled ice battleground for the Ice Warrior Challenge, featuring over 20 obstacles designed to test strength, stamina, and teamwork. Participants will face a variety of intense challenges, including climbing rope walls, swimming through icy waters, navigating monkey bars, racing wheels and crawling through nets, squeezing through tunnels and mazes, and overcoming icy ramps and slippery hurdles.
Each obstacle pushes competitors to their limits, promising an unforgettable experience in sub-zero temperatures.
The Ice Warrior Challenge attracts participants from around the globe, as well as UAE residents of all fitness levels and ages, ranging from 15 to 60. Set against Dubai’s world-class winter sports venue, the event offers a unique opportunity to test endurance and mental toughness, strengthen team spirit and collaboration, and enjoy a one-of-a-kind winter adventure in the heart of the desert. Last year, the challenge welcomed over 600 participants from 70 countries, and organizers expect even greater participation this year.
