The UAE national skydiving team continued its successful international streak, soaring high on the global stage, after Abdulbari Qubaisi clinched four medals — two gold and two silver at the Russian International Parachuting and Wakeboarding Championship held in Tanay, Kemerovo.
The tournament drew major international attention due to the scale of participation and the high level of competition.
Qubaisi extended his brilliant run on the international circuit, dominating the Accuracy Landing event to win gold, while also securing first place in the Distance event. He went on to claim second place in Freestyle and capped his outstanding performance with the silver medal in the overall standings.
This latest triumph adds to the decorated record of UAE aerial sports and to the growing legacy of Qubaisi, who only days earlier captured the gold medal at the Siberia International Championship.
Nasser Hamouda Al Neyadi, President of the Emirates Aerosports Federation, praised the remarkable achievements of the Qubaisi.
He credited these continuous successes to the unlimited support provided by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence.
